17 July 2018 (UNHCR)* — UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is alarmed by a separation of a Sri Lankan refugee family in Sydney by the Government of Australia. The deportation overnight of the father leaves his Sri Lankan partner, who is a recognized refugee, alone in Australia with their 11-month-old daughter.

A record-breaking total of around 123 million, or nine out of 10, infants, received at least one dose of diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine in 2017, protecting them from deadly infectious diseases, according to United Nations figures released on 16 July 2018.

The fashion industry is valued upward of 2.5 trillion dollars, and employs some 75 million people globally – so it makes good sense to shift textile production from fossil fuel-based synthetic fibers to renewable, biodegradable textiles, made from wood, according to a new United Nations initiative that aims to make forests literally more fashionable.

7 Jul 2018 – 25 years after, looking back to The Declaration of Principles (Oslo Agreement) of 1993 should deal with its results rather than to be about the intentions of the leaders at that time.
Three approaches of analysis might be mentioned:
- First: Some will take an actor- based perspective on evaluating Oslo by focusing on the brevity and the sincere intentions of Arafat and Rabin who signed the Agreement.
