Gaza: World Food Programme Forced to Pause Food Distributions in North as Report Warns of Worsening Crisis » Humanitarian Aid Trucks at Rafah Border

On this day, 120 trucks, including 73 WFP trucks carrying 2,190 tonnes of food such as food rations and canned fava beans boxes, are passing through the Rafah border to be checked at Karem Abu Salem checkpoint before entering Gaza.

In the narrow lanes that have formed between the trucks, drivers are getting ready to go.

Some are praying on mats on the ground, some are chatting while drinking tea and some are eating from their small portable kitchens hidden at the bottom of the trucks under the stacks of food aid. Drivers have been sleeping in their trucks for over 10 nights.
