The ocean produces at least 50% of the planet’s oxygen, it is home to most of earth’s biodiversity, and is the main source of protein for more than a billion people around the world.

Not to mention, the ocean is key to our economy with an estimated 40 million people being employed by ocean-based industries by 2030.

‘Number of Aid Workers Killed in Gaza, Highest in UN History’

‘In Gaza, Daily Food Intake Has Fallen Well Below What a Human Body Needs to Survive‘

(UN News)* — The lack of food entering Gaza caused by ongoing Israeli aid restrictions is leaving increasing numbers of Palestinians “vulnerable to starvation”, with daily energy intake now well below what a human body needs to survive, the UN warned on Thursday .

Hundreds of Cholera Cases Are Declared Per Day in Sudan
