Gender Wars in the No-Longer United States

Human Wrongs Watch

By Ellyn Kaschak*

17 October 2018, (Wall Street International)* — I am a lifelong American citizen, born and raised in New York. I have lived my adult life in Northern California. I have been a professor, a therapist and a writer for all my adult years. I have only felt moderately comfortable in these roles, as I was repeatedly ridiculed and criticized and even sexually assaulted once or twice for the crime of believing that I, a woman, could do these jobs.

My family was also horrified and wanted me to stay home, marry and give them grandchildren.

Of course, I was not the only one and the U.S. is not the only country where this discrimination and harassment occur.

UN Vote on Palestine a Humiliating Defeat for US and Its Envoy

Human Wrongs Watch

By Thalif Deen*

UNITED NATIONS, Oct 17 2018 (IPS)Nikky Haley, the vociferously anti-Palestine US Ambassador to the United Nations, warned member states last year she will “take down names” of those who vote against American interests in the world body—perhaps with the implicit threat of cutting US aid to countries that refuse to play ball with the diplomatically-reckless Trump administration.

Human Wrongs Watch

By David T. Hanson*

18 October 2018 (Wall Street International)* – The Aboriginal tribes of Australia are the earth’s oldest known continuous civilization, dating back forty thousand years. An Aboriginal tribal elder, when asked why his culture had left behind no structures that compared with the Pyramids, the Parthenon, or the great monuments of other civilizations, replied that his people had strived to leave the land just as they had found it: thatwas their most enduring monument.
