21 January 2019 — Martin Luther King Jr., is the most important historical figure of the 20Th and 21RST Centuries, the indisputable enduring icon of modern times.

There are many brave individuals whose contributions have advanced the human condition, resulting in similar social contributions. The more I studied King’s substantial national and international legacies, however, the more I became convinced King is the more than the defining “icon” of our times.

Human Wrongs Watch
By James Albertini | Malu ‘Aina Center for Non-violent Education & Action – TRANSCEND Media Service*
1893 a coup d’état was carried out against Queen Lili’uokalani and the Hawaiian Kingdom by foreign resident business interests with the assistance of U.S. Marines from the USS Boston. An illegal U.S. occupation of Hawai’i has continued ever since. Contrary to popular belief there never was a Treaty of Annexation.
Today, occupied Hawai’i is home to more than 100 U.S. military installations, a runaway tourist industry and settler population that has turned Hawai’i into a playground for rich land speculators.
Global Economy to See ‘Steady’ Growth of Three Per Cent in 2019 Despite Risks – UN
Human Wrongs Watch
The global economy grew at a “steady” 3.1 per cent last year and similar levels of growth are expected in 2019, but these headline figures mask growth that is uneven and often failing to reach where it is most needed, the UN’s chief economist warned on Monday [21 January 2019].

“We still have relatively strong growth, but we do see rising risks on the horizon and an increasing likelihood that some of these risks might actually materialize,” said Elliott Harris, United Nations Chief Economist, in comments coinciding with the launch of the World Economic Situation and Prospects 2019 (WESP) report.

Let me start by fleshing out the sort of point of view I take the quote to epitomize with a seven-point telegram. It aspires to highlight typical elements of an EA rap:
